Yap graduated from the National University of Singapore with a First Class
Honours in Mathematics and she was the former Level Head of Mathematics
Department at Hwa Chong Institution (College Section). Under her
leadership, the graduated batch of students from the Year 2013 in Hwa
Chong has attained the highest percentage distinction in H2 Math in the
nation. Her innovative and interesting teaching methods and her caring
nature won her back in Hwa Chong Institution the BEST TEACHING PRACTICE
AWARD (First Prize) for the Year 2008 and 2010 and the MOST CARING TEACHER
AWARD in the Year 2009. Mrs Jasmine Yap specialises in providing tuition
